What is Truth? Is it Relative, Objective, or Subjective? Look at this Statement I am about to give very carefully, ponder it and digest it before answering it. " All Truths are Relative," Now, Look at this, what is wrong with this reasoning? All truths are relative? Relativism in a nutshell is this: In your world truth is what you want it to be , but in my world it is what I want it to be, and there are No Absolutes. Now, Look at the Statement again, "All truths are Relative." Ask the question, does this statement include or exclude itself? For if it includes itself, then it isn't always really true. If it excludes itself it is an absolute, which debunks itself, for there are no absolutes in relativism. This is a very big problem in our world today. Many people do not know what truth is. Please reply, and God Bless!

Truth is what is actual and genuine. Truth is not relative. For example, 'Jesus rose from the dead' is a statement of truth or a statement of falsehood. The idea of this being relative is just plain silliness. Mathematical truths are also not relative. 2 + 2 always equals 4. Those that say, "truth is relative" generally don't know what they are talking about. I'd say they are relatively stupid...lol There are many people in prisons and mental hospitals that think truth is relative.

Truth is objective when facts and data are available. What is subjective about 2 + 2? Some confuse truth with opinion and opinions are things that bend and get twisted in every which way...
